What the office handles every day
State government agencies
Stuck with VicRoads, Housing Victoria, the Department of Transport and Planning, WorkSafe, the TAC or another state department? Luba's office can often cut through the red tape and get you to the right person.
Congratulatory messages
Significant birthdays, wedding anniversaries, citizenship ceremonies and community milestones. Luba can arrange a personal letter, and for major milestones a message from the Premier or even The King.
Local issues and concerns
Roads, schools, public transport, health services, community safety, parks and open space. If it is a state government matter affecting Kororoit, Luba wants to hear about it.
Community groups and grants
The office supports community groups right across the electorate. We can help you find the state grants you are eligible for, strengthen your application and connect with the relevant department.
School and community visits
Invite Luba to your school, kinder, sporting club, cultural festival or community event. Student tours of Parliament House can also be arranged.
Who does what in government
It is not always obvious which level of government handles what. Here is a quick guide so you end up with the right office faster.

What to expect when you get in touch
Step by step
- You reach out by phone, email, post, or by dropping in to the office.
- The office looks into it. That might mean talking to the relevant department, a minister's office or a community organisation.
- You get options. Sometimes that is a letter from Luba, sometimes a referral, sometimes direct advocacy on your behalf.
- The office stays with it until you have a clear outcome, or everything that can be done has been done.
What to include
- Your full name, address, phone number and email.
- A clear description of the issue, what has happened, when, and who you have already spoken to.
- Any reference numbers or letters you have received from the agency.
- The outcome you are hoping for, and any deadlines we should know about.
