Construction has started on a new Children's Centre and Primary School at St Marianne Cope in Mount Atkinson, giving local families more choice close to home.
The Children's Centre will deliver 178 kindergarten places and include out-of-school-hours care, backed by up to $6.75 million in funding.
A further $6 million will build the first stage of the primary school, with the co-located design making the move from kinder to school easier for local children.
