The Victorian Budget delivers nearly $5 billion to improve public transport, including $727 million for more frequent services through the new Metro Tunnel.
A further $98.7 million will boost services across lines including Werribee, Craigieburn and Upfield, giving passengers more options more often.
The Government is also investing $4 billion to redevelop Sunshine Station into a transport superhub, unlocking Airport Rail and future electrification of the Melton line for Melbourne's west.
