Drivers in Melbourne's west will benefit from an $18.6 million upgrade to the intersection of Derrimut Road, Hopkins Road and Boundary Road in Truganina and Tarneit.
The project will deliver permanent traffic lights, dedicated turning lanes and improved traffic flow at one of the area's busiest intersections, which connects to the Western Freeway and Princes Highway.
Planning and design work is underway, with construction timing to be confirmed as the project progresses.
